Basic Blacksmithing - Demos throughout the day at the forge.

Inkle Weaving - 9:00am

Shoe Making - 3:00pm

Silver Ring Making - 2 Sessions. 10:30am-12:00pm & 1:00pm - 2:30pm, Limited Participants. $3 fee

This years theme is "the glory of the fight"

What to do

  • A song, a story, something poetic, a joke, an interpretive dance….

  • Create and/or perform a tale of might, conquering the beast or a heroic battle. We're not picky, as long as it's about the fight!


What you need to know

  • All competitors will perform during feast following Baronial Court.

  • There are no restrictions on what time of performance is required.

  • Winner will be selected by popular vote from the audience.


What you'll get

  • Winner shall receive the title "Bard of the Keep"

  • Bard of the Keep staff shall be passed down from the previous winner

  • Come back next year to defend your title and receive a scroll

  • Please inform Lady Epona if you would like to participate.
